What is Cork?

Cork comes from a LIVE tree.

No dudes and dudettes, they don’t kill the tree to extract the cork.

Zen eco surf master lesson number one.

The material has been used for thousands of years, but what has made it famous is its application in wine bottles.

Viva la cork!

The cork is cut off the tree, cleaned, boiled and baked.

No chemicals are used and the end result is a biodegradable product.

Cork is a renewable resource and its harvesting is a truly sustainable example of agroforestry (this kind of agro is okay).
